School Activities

I'm starting to think the teachers are ready for summer break too, because it seems like all we're doing are field trips and performances. Here are just a few of the things the kids have been up to the last few weeks of school.

Jacob's class took a trip to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. I went along, but drove my own car.... 3 hours, 85 kids, 2 buses.... can you blame me?

The butterfly house was lots of fun. For some reason I took photos of only orange, black and white butterflys... but they're still cool. The koi fish made for fun subjects too.

Noah's class went up to Boulder Cave, which is just east of Chinook pass and home to too many bats to count. The bats were in hiding, but the hike was fun and the cave was cool.

Both Jake & Emma had their band concerts on Tuesday night. It's always fun to hear how much they have learned throughout the year. Next year we're going to discuss sitting where I can get pictures of them actually playing.

Dinner with the Stucki's

We finish the weekend with a Stucki Family dinner at Gene & Marilyn's house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed watching William devour his drumstick and both dogs were on hand to make sure nothing went to waste.

Kyle celebrated his second birthday last week. Happy Birthday Kyle! You can check out all of Kyle birthday mania at stuckilicous.blogspot.com.

More Birthday Celebrations!

We celebrated Grandpa Evan's 90th Birthday today. All the family came out to the farm. We had a great time catching up and the weather cooperated so that the kids even braved the pool. Grandpa Bippert didn't want to go swimming, but Noah and Emma decided he looked too warm and took measures to cool him off. Be careful guys.... he always gets even.
